The spaceSea Turtle Lodge is an inviting and spacious two-storey home, ideal for families or larger groups with the optional addition of a very expansive master suite offering a king and 2 singles. The main lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, offering three well-appointed bedrooms: two with a queen and a single bed each, and one with twin singles. With the addition of the master suite, the whole place can accommodate 12. There is also a sofa bed on the mezzanine floor that can curtain off which could accommodate another teen/adult if required.
The main lodge ground floor features a large, open-plan layout with a modern well-equipped kitchen, including an island bench, a dining room, and a spacious lounge, all leading out to three deck areas. One of these decks, large and covered, is conveniently located near the pool, making it perfect for relaxing or entertaining. This level also hosts one of the bedrooms with twin king singles, alongside a full bathroom.
On the upper level, guests will find the other two bedrooms, each offering stunning views and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The Mountain View room is uniquely accessible via a raised glass walkway, providing an enchanting experience. The Sea View room is expansive, offering glimpses of the ocean to wake up to. Additionally, the open mezzanine floor houses a sofa bed with privacy curtains, serving as the perfect spot for an overflow of guests, a teen needing their space or just as a quiet reading nook.
If your group is 6 or under (depending on the make up) the rental covers the main house only (excluding the master suite/4th bedroom, 3rd bathroom). For groups of 7 or more or if you would just prefer 4 bedrooms, you can request the master suite at an additional cost, adding an extra super spacious layer of luxury with an additional twin basin bathroom, a kitchenette, a king bed, and a trundler bed (two singles) accommodating 4 extra guests. The master suite, a secluded haven, is accessible via a covered outdoor landing from the upper level or through external stairs from the main deck.
Completing the lodge's offerings are the exterior spaces, including a large double carport with a laundry room, multiple deck areas for various activities, a lush lawn, and the alluring pool. Sea Turtle Lodge offers a blend of comfort, style, tranqulity and natural beauty, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking a memorable stay.
The property shares the main yard with 2 brand new tiny homes - The Sea Turtle Villas, both are queen studios. These can be booked separately for $195 per night, however the entire property can be secured at a special rate of $1,000 per night.
The villas have separate access, their own pool and no access to the lodge space.

Nicely positioned at the rear of the Lodge, the Villas need booked separately, they are Queen studio units with ensuite, kitchenette and deck. Perfect for an over abundance of guests in Lodge who enjoy their own space.

Neighborhood overviewSea Turtle Lodge is located on the stunning south side of the island. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach has you at one of Rarotonga's best snorkeling spots (Where the commercial turtle dive tours operate from). The lodge is just behind YWAM (Youth with a Mission) on the island's ring road.
There is a children’s playground at YWAM open to the public.
Getting aroundRental cars and scooters are available all around Raro. The property has a double carport. Alternatively, there are public transport buses that run on the half hour both clockwise and anti-clockwise around the island, the nearest bus stop is conveniently located at the end of our road outside YWAM.
